AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker Now A Boneyard Match, Elias vs. King Corbin Set For WrestleMania 36

AJ Styles wants to bring back “The Deadman” and plans to do so by changing the match type when he faces The Undertaker at WrestleMania.

On Raw, Styles, accompanied by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, called out The Undertaker and mentioned how the mystique is gone. Styles plans to do so by facing The Undertaker in a Boneyard Match. Exactly what is a Boneyard Match is unknown as Styles didn’t really specify but did say that he wanted to bury The Undertaker. The stipulation was confirmed later in the show.

The two already had signed a contract to face off at WrestleMania 36 taking place next month and it would be a rematch from their Tuwaiq Trophy Gauntlet Match in which Undertaker replaced the injured Rey Mysterio and pinned Styles to win the gauntlet match.

This would be Undertaker’s first match at WrestleMania since he defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 34 in 2018. WrestleMania 36 will take place on April 4 and 5 at the WWE Performance Center and Fightful will have live coverage of both nights.

Later on Raw, it was announced that Elias will face King Corbin at WrestleMania. Gronkowski had issued the matchup on the March 20 episode of SmackDown, but it was officially confirmed on Raw.
