AJ Lee (AJ Mendez) Says Her Season-Long Contract With WOW Is Winding Down

AJ Lee (AJ Mendez) is leaving WOW Women of Wrestling at the end of the season. 

In her Instagram stories, AJ Lee said that her season-long contract with WOW Women of Wrestling is winding down. She thanked the ladies and praised them for their hard work. She said she would try to come back in the future. 

Lee noted that the project is “non-union.”

Lee has been supporting the Writers Guild of America strike.

Lee signed on with Women of Wrestling to serve as an executive producer and commentator when the brand returned in 2021. 

Lee and her husband CM Punk are part of season two of Heels on STARZ.
