On December 26, Francis took to social media to announce that Cheez-It signed him to represent the MVP Title at the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, where the Iowa Hawkeyes will take on the Tennessee Volunteers. He quipped that your favorite wrestler could not host

Francis previously played college football for the University of Maryland. He went undrafted, but he signed with the Miami Dolphins. Throughout his NFL career, he had stints with the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins (now known as the Commanders), and the New York Giants.
After his football career, Francis then transitioned into the wrestling world; he had a prominent run in NXT, and a brief stint on SmackDown, before WWE released him in November 2021. The company brought him back the following August and released him again in September 2023.
