AJ Francis (Top Dolla) On His Free Agency: I’m Going To Make Music, Act, & Continue Wrestling

AJ Francis (Top Dolla) talks his free agency.

Francis’ second stint with WWE came to an end on September 21, 2023, as he was released from the promotion along with a large group of other superstars. Francis had returned to WWE in August 2022 after being let go from the company for the first time in November 2021.

While speking to Fightful for a new interview, Francis said that he’s going to be a man of many hats now that he’s a free agent.

“I’m going to be doing everything. I’m going to be making music, I’m going to be acting, and I’m never going to stop wrestling. Wrestling is a bug that has bit me that I will have for the rest of my life. I played on Thursday Night Football, Thanksgiving Night, in the NFL, Primetime, 10 million people watching at home, and I’m telling you, even TFL [Tackle For Loss] in that game against Eli Manning, that does not compare against your music hitting and walking through that curtain. There is nothing like it. There is nothing like one-two-kickout when everyone thought it was three. There is nothing like that feeling, at least not in my life, for any time, especially not anytime soon.”

It is currently unknown when or if Francis will return to the ring. Fightful will update fans when more is known.

Francis is set to host his annual canned food drive once again this year, as the event will be held at the University Of Maryland on Saturday, November 18. Fans can learn more by clicking here.

Elsewhere in the interview, Francis talked about the previously mentioned food drive. Fans can see Francis’ full comments on the matter here.
