Francis’ future is currently up in the air, as his TNA contract is set to expire on January 1, as reported by Fightful Select. Francis was backstage visiting at AEW Worlds End, and he has expressed his interest in potentially crossing over to NXT.
On December 29, Francis took to Twitter/X and hinted at his plans for the future by noting that he knew people were asking what he would do next. Francis reintroduced himself and brought up the discourse about what he would do. He noted that fans had wondered whether he would stay in TNA, head to AEW, or return to WWE. Francis said that the next thing he was going to do was compete at Reality of Wrestling’s event on December 29.
Francis also said that he would be going to the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl to represent the MVP Title. Beyond that, he said that on New Year’s Day, it would be a new year, and he would be “outside”. Francis teased that he would definitely have something new to do.
