AEW TNT Championship Changes Hands On 9/29 AEW Dynamite
God’s favorite champion is no more.
Sammy Guevara defeated Miro to capture the AEW TNT Championship on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
The finish saw Miro ripping off turnbuckle pads as Sammy laid outside the ring. Fuego ran out, causing a distraction. Guevara kicked Miro into the exposed turnbuckle, hit a tornado DDT, followed with the GTH, and finished him off with the 630 senton.
The bout came together in recent weeks as Miro decimated Sammy’s best friend Fuego del Sol. Wanting to defend Fuego’s honor, and get him a new car, Sammy stepped up and took the challenge.

This marks the first reign with the AEW TNT Title for Guevara. Miro won the AEW TNT Title from Darby Allin on the May 12 episode of Dynamite. He made eight successful title defenses.
