AEW Reimburses St. Louis Anarchy After Daniel Garcia Is Pulled From Show
AEW is making good on Daniel Garcia being pulled from an Indie event.
On Monday, St. Louis Anarchy announced that Daniel Garcia would miss their August 20 event. Garcia noted he would make it up to fans in the future.
While no reason was given, Garcia has been featured on AEW television in past weeks, including wrestling Darby Allin on the most recent episode of Dynamite.
Later on Monday afternoon, St. Louis Anarchy thanked AEW for reimbursing them for the travel they had already paid for in regards to Garcia.
Daniel Garcia has been pulled from the event on Friday. There will be card changes. I’m very sorry.

Shout out to @AEW for reimbursing us on travel we had bought Garcia for Friday. Not alot of bigger companies would of done that. The purpose of us is to get talent ready for them. We wish Garcia the best and hopefully we see him in Anarchy soon.

AEW is set to hold its AEW Rampage: The First Dance event on Friday. The promotion tapes matches for AEW Dark prior to the show going live at 10 p.m. ET.
Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Rampage beginning at 10 p.m. ET on Friday.
