AEW Rampage Results (3/11/22): Scorpio Sky Addresses TNT Title Picture, Swerve Strickland Debuts + More!

We’ll be bringing you full, fight-by-fight results of every match on the card.

 The show begins and our commentary team of Excalibur, Taz and Ricky Starks welcome us to tonight’s show and it’s time to get right into our first match of the night.

Darby Allin (with Sting) vs. Marq Quen (with Isiah Kassidy)

 Darby drop-kicks Marq with drop-kick right as the bell sounds, Darby tosses Marq to the outside and follows him out, Kassidy cheap shots Darby, Marq sends Darby back into the ring, lays him out with a drop-kick then goes for the cover but Darby kicks out and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break, Darby puts Marq on the top rope, follows him up and nails him with a super-plex then goes for the cover but Marq lifts the shoulders at two-and-a-half. Marq gets control back with a flat-liner, goes for the cover but Darby kicks out at two. Darby locks-in the Fujiwara arm-bar out of nowhere and Marq is forced to tap!

Winner – Darby Allin

After the match, The Hardy Boyz music hits and they make their patented entrance and we cut backstage where we see new TNT Champion Scorpio Sky who says he’s welcoming any and every challenger and says anybody can get it.

Jamie Hayter (with Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. & Rebel) vs. Mercedes Martinez

 Hayter and Mercedes unload some heavy strikes to start this one off. Mercedes launches Hayter into the corner, unloads a bevy of chops to the chest and then wallops Hayter with a clothesline. Hayter takes Mercedes’ eyes and locks-in a head-lock. Martinez clubs Hayter with a forearm, then a pair of suplexes before going for the cover but Hayter lifts the shoulders after a count of two. Hayter comes steaming back with a back-breaker, then an elbow and Hayter clobbers Mercedes with a running forearm. Hayter with a big boot, Mercedes tosses her into the corner and puts her on the top turnbuckle and plants Hayter with a German suplex, Reba distracts referee Rick Knox and Britt Baker trips Mercedes’ off the top rope, Hayter uses the distraction to her advantage and drills Mercedes with a lariat for the 1-2-3 and the win!

Winner – Jamie Hayter

After the match, Hayter, Baker and Reba attack Mercedes but Thunder Rosa runs down and makes the save as the three heels retreat and we kick it backstage where we see former AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida is shown. Shida asks if Serena Deeb has missed her and says all she’s been thinking about is getting revenge on Deeb for the attack that put her [Shida] out of action for a few weeks. Shida threatens to ‘cut off’ Deeb’s head and we head to a commercial break.

Keith Lee vs. QT Marshall (with Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto)

Lee knocks QT down with a head-butt, then latches-in an arm-lock, QT powers out and clocks Lee with a bevy of strikes, Lee comes back with a thunderous double-chop to the chest and launches QT across the ring. QT runs away from Lee, goes up top and wallops the big man with a missile drop-kick, Lee’s just getting angry and lays QT out with a running clothesline. QT goes for the Diamond Cutter, Lee forced himself out and plants QT with his patented slam and gets the three-count for the win!

Winner – Keith Lee

After the match Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto rush the ring and attack Lee but Lee dispatches of them easily. Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs run down and attack Lee and Hobbs puts Lee down with a massive spine-buster and they stand tall over Lee as we cut to a commercial break ahead of our main event of the evening.

Swerve Strickland vs. Tony Nese

 A test-of-strength and some grappling start this one off. Nese with a drop-kick, Swerve with a head-scissors and a drop-kick gives him the momentum back. Nese goes for a takedown, Strickland flips over Nese and regains his balance and sends Nese to the mat with a kick. Nese tosses Swerve to the outside, traps him in the ring apron and clocks him with a strike and taunts the newly-signed star and we cut to a commercial break. Back from the break and Swerve is in control, Nese knocks Swerve back, goes for a spring-board dive, Seerve rolls out and unloads a chop to Nese’s chest. Swerve nails Nese with a brain-buster then goes for the cover but Nese lifts the shoulders. Swerve goes up top, Nese follows him up and cracks him with an upper-cut and sends Swerve crashing to the mat with a pair of knees before going for the cover but Swerve kicks out at two. Nese goes back up top, nails Swerve with the 450′ splash, goes for another cover but Swerve kicks out of that as well. Nese continues the attack and goes for a pump-handle slam, Swerve counters and nails a double-stomp onto Nese, Swerve goes up top and lands another double-stomp and gets the 1-2-3 for the win!

Winner – Swerve Strickland
