AEW Rampage Results For 12/3/21 Sammy Guevara vs. Tony Nese, FTR vs. PAC and El Penta Zero M

– The show begins with Excalibur welcoming us to AEW Rampage. Excalibur then welcomes his colleagues Taz and Ricky Starks.
TNT Championship Match
Tony Nese vs. Sammy Guevara (C)
The bell rings with Sammy Guevara going right in on Tony Nese. He lands a few strikes in on him; however, Nese comes back and lays out Guevara. Guevara comes back and hits a corkscrew dive, and the fight goes onto the outside with Guevara in control. Nese knocks down Guevara with a knee in the ribs and then slams Guevara hard onto the mat. Nese hits Guevara with a moonsault press. Tony Nese attacks the ribs of Sammy Guevara and talks trash while he does it.
Nese hits Guevara with a stiff back spinning heel kick; we go to our first picture-in-picture commercial break with Nese in control. During the break, both competitors exchange strikes; however, Sammy Guevara slows down Tony Nese with a back bodyslam. Guevara goes for a head kick, but Nese blocks it and locks Guevara into a submission hold.
Guevara gets out of it and strikes Nese a few times; Guevara hits a springboard cutter. Nese goes for a pump handle slam, but Guevara counters it into a Spanish fly. Guevara goes for the pin; however, Nese kicks out. Guevara hits a big springboard moonsault, Nese recovers and returns the favor by hitting a springboard moonsault as well. Nese hits Guevara with a 450 splash; Nese goes for the pin; however, Sammy kicks out.
Nese and Guevara exchange strikes again, Nese hits Guevara with a buckle bomb. Nese goes for a running knee strike; however, Guevara is back up, and he catches Nese, hits him with the GTH, and then pins Nese to victory.
Winner: Sammy Guevara
– We get a promo with Christian Cage and Jurassic Express. Cage says he will do everything to help maintain their advantage and use their momentum, and guide them to win the AEW Tag-Team titles.
– Thunder Rosa joins the commentary team for the next match.
Jade Cargill (w/ “Smart” Mark Sterling) vs. Janai Kai
The bell rings, and Jade Cargill leans in on Janai Kai to let her get the advantage. Cargill then knocks her down quickly, and she picks up Kai and hits her finisher Jaded. Cargill then pins Kai for the quick victory. After the match, Cargill attacks Kai some more. Finally, Thunder Rosa has enough, and she runs down, and they start fighting. AEW Personal and some of the referees run down and break them up.
Winner: Jade Cargill (w/ “Smart” Mark Sterling)
– The Young Bucks and Adam Cole cut a promo on Orange Cassidy. Coles says that Cassidy tried to steal his spotlight and that Cassidy is the laughing stock of AEW.
While Cole was talking Don Callis appeared in the background passing by while on the phone and he pats Nick Jackson on the back. Nick Jackson says The Young Bucks they will return to action on next week’s Dynamite, and they challenge two of The Best Friends to a match. It is reveled that they will face Chuck Taylor and Rocky Romero.
– We get a promo from Eddie Kingston talking about what Daniel Garcia and 2.0 did to Chris Jericho on Dynamite. Eddie Kingston says he does not care what they did to Jericho; however, Kingston says he has a problem with Daniel Garcia and 2.0 for going after him.
– We get a video highlight package and promo setting up Bryan Danielson and John Silver. Excalibur then goes over some of the matches that we will see on AEW Dynamite next week.
– Mark Henry is interviewing PAC and El Penta Zero M . Henry asks PAC, “how can he wrestle with one eye?” PAC yells at Mark Henry and says, “do I look blind to you?” PAC then says he will get to Malakai Black for what he did to his eye after getting revenge for Rey Fenix.
El Penta Zero M and PAC (w/ Alex Abrahantes) vs. FTR (w/ Tully Blanchard)
The match begins with El Penta Zero M and Cash Wheeler starting things off; Penta takes down Wheeler quickly. They lock up again, and Penta takes him down again with a spinning toe hold. PAC gets tagged in, but PAC and Penta hit Wheeler with a stereo head kick before leaving the ring. Wheeler rolls out of the ring to recover. Wheeler enters the ring and tags in Dax Harwood. PAC takes down Harwood with a hip toss, and PAC also hits one on Cash Wheeler.
PAC and Penta exchange tags, and Penta comes in from the top rope and onto the tailbone of Penta. Wheeler jumps in the ring and nails Penta with a cheap shot. Now, FTR is exchanging tags and getting a lot of offense in on Penta.
Penta eventually gets away from Dax Harwood and tags in PAC. PAC goes for a springboard but slips and is selling his eye injury. They head out for a picture-in-picture commercial break with FTR taking control of the match. FTR controls the match during the entire break; PAC eventually gets energy and sends Wheeler out of the ring. Harwood grabs Dax, puts his partner back into the ring, and tags himself in. Wheeler nor Harwood are letting PAC the chance to get to his partner. PAC hits Harwood with a massive shotgun dropkick on Harwood. PAC makes it over to Penta for the hot tag.
Penta clears the ring and takes down Harwood with a DDT and Wheeler big crossbody off the top rope. Penta goes for the cover, but Wheeler kicks out at two. Penta hits Wheeler with the backstabber, Penta goes for another pin attempt, but again Wheeler kicks out at two.
Wheeler hits Penta with a powerslam, followed by Dax hitting a leg drop from the top rope. Penta hits Harwood with the corkscrew Code Red, PAC gets tagged in, and he hits Dax with a crossbody. Dax gets up right away, and Harwood hits PAC with a Tiger Driver, he goes for the pin, but PAC kicks out.
Tully gets on the apron and begins yelling at Rick Knox; PAC sends Dax into Tully. Wheeler hits Penta with a swinging DDT on Penta. Harwood and Wheeler are now outside of the ring. PAC jumps from the top turnbuckle onto them. Dax makes it into the ring and tells the referee Rick Knox that he has a knee injury, Knox is distracted, and out of nowhere, Malakai Black spits black mist into PAC’s left eye. Harwood then quickly gets up and pins PAC to get the victory.
After the match, FTR beats down on Penta and then pulls Penta’s mask off. Malakai Black then attacks PAC again and starts digging into his eye. We see that Malakai has some of PAC’s blood on his hand as they go off the air.
Winners: FTR (w/ Tully Blanchard)
