Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) vs. SAP (Angelico, Serpentico & LUTHER) vs. LFI (Preston Vance, Dralistico & RUSH) vs. Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Trent Berretta & Chuck Taylor) vs. AR Fox & Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin) vs. Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade vs. Ariya Daivari & Varsity Athletes (Tony Nese & Josh Woods) vs. Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds).
The match began with an all-out brawl between LFI, Sabian, Butcher & Blade & Best Friends, with Vance hitting a spine buster on Chuck Taylor before tossing him to the outside to eliminate Taylor. BCC joined the match, striking down everyone in the ring. Claudio slammed Blade’s face to the corner before he & Moxley double-teamed Butcher. Claudio hit an uppercut on Dralistico as Moxley attacked Sabian in the corner. Dark Order joined the match and immediately laid in the strikes on Vance after he betrayed the Dark Order. Evil Uno tossed Moxley on the apron, but Moxley held on before Cassidy went for a Diving Crossbody on Evil Uno & Claudio, but they caught him. Cassidy went to put his hands in his pockets, but Sabian, Butcher & Blade attacked him from behind. Vance hit a pump kick before hitting a waist lock takedown on Moxley. Vance placed Claudio on the top rope, but Moxley attacked Vance before Claudio hit an ax handle on Vance. Cassidy tossed Blade out of the ring, but Sabian tossed Cassidy to eliminate him before Trent tossed Sabian, with Butcher & Trent being the only members of their teams remaining in the match. SAP joined the match from the broadcast table. Serpentico was tossed around with hip attacks on everyone in the corner, but Trent eliminated Angelico out of the match. Silver attacked RUSH & Dralistico before tossing Dralistico out of the ring, but RUSH caught him with a rolling elbow before eliminating Silver from the match. RUSH & Evil Uno exchanged vicious chops, but Moxley caught Evil Uno with a cutter before hitting a shotgun dropkick and tossing Evil Uno out of the ring to eliminate him from the match as Yuta held onto Reynolds. Claudio tossed Luther out of the ring. Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese & Josh Woods were flanked by Mark Sterling as they attacked Trent on ringside. Yuta eliminated Reynolds by hitting the Anvill Elbow strikes on Reynolds. RUSH hit an overhead suplex and the Bull’s Horns before tossing Yuta out of the ring to eliminate him. Serpentico hit a series of chops on RUSH, but Vance caught him with a lariat before eliminating Serpentico. AR Fox & The Martin Brothers joined the match as the final entrants. They triple-teamed Trent in the corner before they hit a pop-up cutter on Trent. Claudio tossed Daivari on the apron before hitting him with a boot to eliminate him from the match. RUSH & Vance attacked Claudio in the corner, but Claudio tossed Vance onto the apron before Moxley hit a big boot to eliminate Vance. Fox went for a springboard move, but Woods caught him with a knee strike mid-air. Dante Martin dumped Woods out of the ring to eliminate him. Nese went for a springboard move, but Darius pushed Nese onto Woods to the outside to eliminate him. Trent hit a gotch-style Piledriver on Butcher to eliminate him, but RUSH caught Trent with a big boot to eliminate him. RUSH & Claudio confronted each other before they fired away with chops. The two got on the apron before Claudio fired away with forearm strikes on RUSH and hitting an uppercut on RUSH to eliminate him. Moxley eliminated AR Fox by catching him with a forearm strike. Top Flight and the team of Moxley & Claudio started exchanging strikes, but “Hangman” Adam Page joined the match and attacked Moxley before Darius hit a shotgun dropkick to eliminate Moxley. Claudio & Top Flight were the last three, but Claudio tossed Darius & Dante on the apron as Hangman & Moxley brawled on the outside. Darius hit a slingshot flatliner on Claudio. Dante & Darius tried to eliminate Claudio, but Claudio fouGht them off with elbow strikes before he hit a big boot on Dante. Claudio got Dante in a Gorilla Press, but Darius hit a Thrust Kick before Darius hit an assisted Tornado DDT on Claudio before dumping him to the outside, but Claudio hang on. Dante went for an assisted Hurricanrana, but Claudio caught him mid-air. Claudio went for a powerbomb, but Darius pushed Claudio onto the ropes, allowing Dante to dump Claudio to the outside for the elimination, giving them the win & going home with $300k in the bank.
Winners: AR Fox & Top Flight (Darius Martin & Dante Martin).
– Eddie Kingston & Ortiz came to the ring to call out the House of Black (Malakai Black, Julia Hart, Brody King & Buddy Matthews) for making Ortiz look like a bitch. Julia Hart showed up and showed a video promo from King, Matthews & Black. Malakai Black stated they will face each other at a later date, but hinted that someone may not be loyal to Kingston. Kingston & Ortiz were bamboozled by these statements.
– Renee Paquette interviewed Daniel Garcia & Sammy Guevara backstage. Guevara tried to speak on behalf of Garcia, but Garcia told Guevara that he did not like anything about him but would be professional for the success of JAS. Guevara called Garcia a tight ass and told him that he needed a hug. Guevara told Garcia that they would do great things together before wishing him a Merry Christmas.
TBS Championship Eliminator Match.
Jade Cargill (c) (w/ Red Velvet & Leila Grey) vs. VertVixen
The two locked up to begin the match, but Cargill slammed VertVixen onto the mat before firing away with strikes on VertVixen in the corner. Cargill hit a body slam on VertVixen before flexing to the crowd. Cargill hit another body slam over VertVixen before hitting a back elbow strike and a veal toss on VertVixen. Cargill started doing push-ups as VertVixen got up, to which she responded by hitting a series of stomps and slamming VertVixen into the top turnbuckle. Velvet & Grey pulled VertVixen from the hair before Cargill slammed VertVixen’s head into the corner and hit two forearm strikes on VertVixen’s chest. Cargill tossed VertVixen to the corner with an Irish Whip before tossing her into the corner. Back from the commercial break, VertVixen slipped out of the corner and ran the ropes, but Cargill caught her with a Thrust kick before hitting an Ax Kick and a vicious pump kick on VertVixen for the pinfall win.
Winner: Jade Cargill (c) (w/ Red Velvet & Leila Grey).
– Ruby Soho cut a promo calling out Tay Melo & Anna Jay AS, saying that she felt tired about fighting the numbers game. She recruited Willow Nightingale to challenge Melo & Jay to a match on the 12/28/2022 edition of AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash.
– Wardlow cut a promo backstage ahead of his match against TNT Champion & ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe ahead of their match on AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash, saying that he would end the claim of Joe being the King of TV.
– Powerhouse Hobbs attacked a mysterious man backstage as he was caught by Alex Marvez before the camera cut the action.
– Mark Henry interviewed the team of Billy Gunn & Anthony Bowens and the team of Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal alongside Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh. Lethal said that they would prove that they are better wrestlers than the Acclaimed, but Bowens told Jarrett that they would beat his Jeriatric-Kid Rock-looking ass in the Main Event.
Billy Gunn & Anthony Bowens vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal (w/ Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh).
Lethal & Bowens began the match locking up before Lethal leaned Bowens into the corner. The two exchanged strikes before Lethal went for the Figure Four, but Bowens reversed it with an Inside Cradle for a near fall. The two exchanged strikes before Bowens hit a gut thrust kick and a Fam-Asser on Lethal for a near fall. Gunn tagged in, but Lehtal rolled to tag in Jarrett. Jarrett hit a thumb to Gunn’s eye before hitting a back elbow and a senton on Gunn into the middle rope. Jarrett did the Fargo stride, but Gunn caught him with a vicious lariat before slamming Jarrett’s head to the corner and hitting a Jackhammer on Gunn for a near fall. Lethal tagged in and went for Sledge Strike, but Gunn caught him with a body shot before hitting boot kick, to which Bowens responded by tagging in. Bowens & Gunn hit the Scissor Elbow drop on Lethal for a near fall. Lethal dumped Bowens to the outside before Jarrett hit a lariat on Bowens on the outside. Bowens got back in the ring, but Lethal dumped Bowens out of the ring again. Back in the ring, Lethal slammed Bowens’ head into the corner before stomping away at Bowens. Jarrett tagged in, but Bowesn caught him with a sunset flip for a near fall. Jarrett hit a lariat on Bowens before tagging in Lethal. Lethal hit a body slam on Bowens for a near fall, to which Lethal responded by locking in a sleeper on Bowens. Bowens hit a series of gut punches on Lethal to break the hold, but Lethal hit knee strikes on Bowens gut. Jarrett tagged in and hit a Russian Leg Sweep on Bowens for a near fall. Jarrett slammed Bowens to the corner with two consecutive Irish Whips before hitting a back-drop on Bowens. Jarrett hit a gut kick on Bowens before Lethal hit a neck breaker on Bowens for a near fall. Lethal hit a snap-suplex on Bowens for a near fall before locking in another sleeper hold on Bowens, but Lethal broke the hold to hit another suplex, but Bowens reversed it with a roll-up for a near fall, but Lethal caught him and hit the Lethal Combination for three near falls. Jarrett tagged in and laid in the punches on Bowens, but Bowens laid in the strikes before hitting a thrust kick on Jarrett and tagging in Gunn. Gunn & Lethal tagged in, but Gunn fired away with lariats on Lethal & Jarrett before Gunn tossed Jarrett out of the ring. Singh got to the ring, but Gun tossed Sigh out of the ring before hitting a sleeper uranage on Lethal for a near fall Dutt tried to get involved but Bowens attacked Dutt to send him out of the ring, but Jarrett caught Bowens, and hit the Stroke. Caster distracted the referee, which allowed Dutt to hit a low blow on Gunn and allowed Lethal to hit the Lethal Injection for the pinfall win. Lethal & Jarrett stood tall to end the broadcast.
