AEW Invades Southern Honor Wrestling; Jericho Brawls With Omega, New Over Budget Battle Royal Entrant
AEW was back on the Independent scene on Friday night.
Southern Honor Wrestling, a promotion out of Canton, GA, held their monthly event on May 3 with some special guests.
First, Cody Rhodes showed up to announce that Dustin Thomas, the wrestler with no legs who made a name for himself over WrestleMania weekend, would be part of the Over Budget Battle Royal at AEW Double or Nothing. Cody also put over Sunny Daze’s mom in a quick squash match.

But that wasn’t the end of the AEW invasion. Later in the night, Chris Jericho interrupted things, laying waste to competitors with a chair. He was then attacked by Kenny Omega.
