AEW Files Trademarks On ‘AEW: Meat Madness’ And ‘AEW: Match Madness’

AEW has gone mad with two new trademark filings. 

On February 26, 2024, All Elite Wrestling filed trademarks on the terms ‘AEW: Meat Madness’ and ‘AEW: Match Madness.’

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling.

Meat Madness was scheduled to be a match at AEW Revolution featuring big meaty men, such as Wardlow and Lance Archer, slapping meat. The match was pulled from the pay-per-view as there were several names Tony Khan was hoping would be able to participate in the match who are not currently cleared. Learn more about that here

It is not known what the Match Madness trademark might pertain to.
