AEW Fight Forever News: Story Mode, Who Made The Cover Art, Minigames

AEW revealed their Fight Forever game cover, which we’ve gained some more information about.

Fightful Select learned that THQ Nordic’s team designed the cover, as opposed to All Elite Wrestling’s graphics team. People within AEW didn’t even know until the cover was leaked the day before that the cover athletes would be featured, and that goes for the actual athletes themselves.

As we reported, there is a story mode that we’ve heard is “much different” than many other story modes. There are also more mini-games than the ones shown on the AEW Twitch stream last week. We’ve learned that the fourth mini-game is related to Orange Cassidy.

There are several talent that arrived around the beginning of the year that we’re told likely won’t make the roster cut. The internal release date has been moved several times, but at one point was planned for late September. However, Kenny Omega told us recently that it will hopefully release this year.

We’ve also heard that Yuke’s has kicked game production into high gear the last several months to make additions and fixes to the game.

We’ve heard rumors emerging from the publisher and developer that we will likely see more on the game next month in Japan.
