It’s Wednesday, December 14, 2022, and you know what that means!
Winter has once again come in AEW and tonight, the spotlight will be on all of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling. Maxwell Jacob Friedman, MJF, will defend the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time against Ricky Starks. The Elite faces Death Triangle in match number four of their Best of Seven Series. additionally, Chris Jericho and more will be featured tonight as AEW presents one of its last major shows of the year.

MJF’s First Title Defense
In tonight’s main event, Maxwell Jacob Friedman will defend his world title for the first time against Ricky Starks. However, MJF is also defending his Dynamite Diamond Ring against Starks because of the challenger’s victory in last week’s Battle Royal. In what may be the biggest television match for either competitor, MJF looks to kick-start his reign of terror while Ricky looks to bring it all to a screeching halt before it can begin. Tonight, we find out who will lead AEW into 2023.
The Best Of Seven Continues
Tonight, The Elite and Death Triangle once again meet as both teams look to earn the right to call themselves the Undisputed AEW World Trios Champions. Two weeks ago, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were able to prevent PAC, Rey Fenix, and Penta El Zero M from sweeping them in this series. Now, they hope to continue building their momentum.
Ruby Soho Looks For Revenge
Ruby Soho has been on the shelf with a broken nose suffered at the hands of Tay Melo at AEW All Out. Tonight, she looks to go one-on-one with the woman that injured her and gain a measure of revenge. Melo, on the other hand, is looking to gain a major victory as she jockeys for position in the rankings and hopes to set the Jericho Appreciation Society back on the right track.
Chris Jericho Looks To Rebound After ROH Title Loss
Chris Jericho is no longer “The Ocho.” At ROH Final Battle, Jericho became the first person to tap out to Claudio Castagnoli’s Swing. On social media, Chris Jericho said that he kept out because if he had not, he would have suffered brain damage. He also had words for his critics saying that if it were in his position, they just would have shit their pants and cried for their mother. The House Of Black Set To Hold Sermon
The House of Black is back in action tonight. Buddy Matthews, Brody King, and Malakai Black make their long-awaited return to trios action and in recent weeks, they have made it clear that they will make an enemy out of anyone on the roster. As all rise for the House of Black, the Julia Hart-led triumvirate await their potential next victims.
