AEW hosted the AEW All Out go-home edition of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, live from the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
Among other matches, Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW International Championship against Penta El Zero Miedo, and Eddie Kingston will defend the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship against Wheeler Yuta.

AEW Dynamite (8/30/23) Results
* Jon Moxley def. Komander
– Orange Cassidy vignette airs.
– After their match at AEW All In, a clip shows the Young Bucks and FTR discussing the lack of respect reciprocated when FTR extended their hands for a post-match handshake. Bullet Club Gold interrupts, and an 8-man tag is made for AEW All Out.
– The latest interview featuring the wonderfully delusional Toni Storm saw Renee Paquette interview her about AEW All In. Storm says the event went tits up, and now that there’s unrest between The Outcasts, she doesn’t know who she can trust.
– Chris Jericho comes out and says he feels guilty about how he treated Sammy Guevara at AEW All In. Jericho calls out Sammy. He apologizes, and they hug. Things are all good for about five seconds. Jericho says he might have beaten Will Ospreay if Sammy Guevara had hit him harder with the baseball bat. They bicker, and Chris Jericho cools things down by saying they must focus on going after the AEW World Tag Team Championships. They leave together.
* NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship: Eddie Kingston def. Wheeler Yuta
– After the bout, Claudio Castagnoli appears at ringside and assists Yuta to the back, ignoring Kingston.
– MJF and Adam Cole discuss their historic night in a post-AEW All In clip. MJF announces a tag team Battle Royal on Rampage to decide on their AEW All Out opponents. He additionally states that a tournament will be held to decide his AEW Grand Slam challenger. MJF then announced that he would be taking a week off.
– Don Callis questioned Sammy Guevara backstage about his choice to keep fighting alongside Chris Jericho. Guevara told him off.
– Adam Cole heads to the ring, and Roderick Strong and the Kingdom quickly cut him off. They each take turns telling Adam he’s selfish, and he quickly forgets about them when it suits his career. Adam tries to apologize. Roderick will not accept and enters the Grand Slam Tournament instead. Adam Cole is left standing alone in the ring, looking dejected.
– Alex Abrahantes hypes Penta El Zero Miedo’s match with Orange Cassidy. Penta says it’s not personal with Orange Cassidy, but it will be with Jon Moxley because he hurt Rey Fenix.
* Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida & Britt Baker def. Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir & Emi Sakura
– After the match, as Britt Baker and Shida argued, Ruby Soho attacked Statlander.
– It’s announced that Shane Taylor will challenge Samoa Joe for the Ring of Honor World TV Championship at AEW All Out.
– Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita are preparing for Takeshita’s match against Kenny Omega at AEW All Out.
– The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn have a ribbon-cutting ceremony where they unveil new AEW World Trios Championships with pink straps and scissor designs, perfect for scissoring each other.
* AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) def. Penta El Zero Miedo
– After the match, Orange Cassidy cut a passionate promo about always being willing to fight for the International Championship because it means the most to him. Jon Moxley came out, and Cassidy slapped him before they stared down.
