It’s Wednesday, June 28, 2023, and you know what that means!

It’s time to break down the June 28 episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.

This week’s episode will be centered around the fallout of AEW x NJPW  Forbidden Door. With a major Tornado Tag Team Match, the next match in the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Women’s Tournament, and a bracket reveal for the upcoming Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament to crown new number-one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, Dynamite looks to kick off the road to AEW All in and AEW All Out in a major way.

Here’s everything you need to know before tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.

Jon Moxley Looks To Housebreak ‘The Stone Pitbull’

After Tomohiro Ishii picked up a victory for himself, The Elite and Eddie Kingston in a massive 5-on-5 Tag Team Match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Ishii will now come to Dynamite and attempt to defeat Jon Moxley one-on-one. With vengeance on his mind and an overall pension for violence at all times, MOX looks to even the score on behalf of The Blackpool Combat Club when he steps into the ring with “The Stone Pitbull.”

Britt Baker & Ruby Soho Run It Back

In a rematch of what was the finals of last year’s Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament, Britt Baker will take on Ruby Soho in the opening round of this year’s tournament.

Much has changed since last year. This time, Ruby is a heel, aligned with Toni Storm and Saraya, and Baker is the babyface. On June 28, when these women step into the ring, fans will find out how that dynamic change affects the tournament.

Jack Perry Speaks

“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry turned on HOOK out of frustration following his own loss to SANADA at Forbidden Door. On June 28, he will cut his first promo as a heel. What will he say? What will be the repercussions of his actions? Tonight will be the first step in finding out all about what the next chapter for Jack Perry holds.

Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament News

There will be a bracket reveal for the upcoming Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament on June 28. also, we will hear from the first odd couple pairing announced for the tournament, Adam Cole and MJF. Max is coming off a successful title defense against Hiroshi Tanahashi at Forbidden Door. Unfortunately, Adam Cole was unable to compete at the event against Tom Lawlor as he was scheduled to due to an illness. Still, Adam is not likely to forget that Maxwell sent Team Filthy to attack him on the June 23 episode of AEW Rampage.

With all of these hostilities and more blind pairings slated to be announced, tensions are sure to be running high across the board.

The Stinger Meets The Painmaker In A Tornado Tag

Anything goes in the upcoming Tornado Tag Team Match that will see Chris Jericho once again become “The Painmaker” as he teams with Sammy Guevara against Sting and Darby Allin. Sting only stepped in the ring with Chris Jericho for the first time this past Sunday, and now, he must face the most sadistic side of Jericho. Combining the icons’ mal-intent toward one another with the carefree nature of Sammy and Darby in the wrestling ring, to have at least one memorable moment.

Who will come out on top? Fans will find out on June 28.
