AEW Dynamite (11/9) Preview: Stars Look To Build Momentum As AEW Kicks It Into Full Gear

It’s Wednesday, November 9, 2022, and you know what that means!

It’s time to break down tonight’s AEW Dynamite on TBS.

Tonight, the build to AEW Full Gear continues. Jon Moxley, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, Saraya, and more will look to make an impact on the microphone. Meanwhile, FTR, Bryan Danielson, Sammy Guevara, and more will all step inside the squared circle tonight.

Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.

Jon Moxley & Maxwell Jacob Friedman Continue The Build To Their Matchup

With less than two weeks to go before AEW Full Gear, Jon Moxley and Maxwell Jacob Friedman are scheduled to have separate interview segments tonight. MJF is currently wrestling with his internal demons as he was recently attacked by The Firm for wanting to do things right on Saturday, November 19.

Jon Moxley, who doesn’t spend a lot of time worrying about whether or not others like him, will undoubtedly have a lot of things to say about The Firm, MJF, and all things concerning his championship belt just 10 nights before the pay-per-view.

Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara: 2 out of 3 Falls

Yet again, the issues between the Chris Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club will take Center Stage. This time, Bryan Danielson will attempt to take Sammy Guevara to the Limit once again in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match. At AEW Full Gear, both men will be in a Fatal 4-Way match, challenging for the Ring of Honor World Championship. However, tonight it is all about respect.

Saraya And Britt Baker Go Face-To-Face

Last week, Saraya and Britt Baker were supposed to sit down with Renee Paquette but Baker elected not to do that, feeling like Renee Paquette is Saraya’s personally hand-picked journalist. This week, they will attempt to have another face-to-face confrontation with Britt Baker’s hand-picked favorite journalist, Tony Schiavone. Last week, Saraya said she had an important announcement to make about her future but first, she wanted to consult one more doctor. Perhaps, tonight, she will get that chance.

Jamie Hayter vs. Skye Blue

Just a little under two weeks before she challenges for the AEW Interim Women’s World Championship, Jamie Hayter will face Skye Blue. Toni Storm will surely be watching as their upcoming showdown in New Jersey looms near.

Tag Team Division Showcased In 8-Man Tag

Tonight, FTR will team up with The Acclaimed to take on The Gunns, Keith Lee, and Swerve Strickland. currently, there’s a lot of friction among everyone in this match. FTR wants The Acclaimed’s Tag Team Championships. On the other side, Keith Lee is not happy with Swerve Strickland’s current demeanor and isn’t thrilled about teaming with Austin and Colten Gunn. Either way, Lee and Strickland will challenge The Acclaimed at AEW Full Gear but FTR and The Gunns aren’t trying to be left out of the picture right now.

Ethan Page And Eddie Kingston Looked To Move One Step Closer To A World Championship Match

Tonight, Ethan Page will go one-on-one with Eddie Kingston with the winner advancing in the current AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament. Both Ethan and Eddie have fans who believe that their time has come and they have earned a shot at the championship. Now, with this tournament, both Ethan and Kingston can prove their fans right. Tonight, one Superstar moves to the next stage while the other moves on feeling dejected.

That is just everything that is announced for tonight. Wardlow, Samoa Joe, Jade Cargill, end even the returning Jeff Jarrett, could all be looking to make an impact tonight.

Here is the current lineup for Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite:
