AEW Dark 6/2/20 Results: The Natural Nightmares, Santana & Ortiz, Billy & More In Action

Billy w/Austin Gunn vs. John Skyler

The match begins with Skyler hiding in the ropes to avoid Billy, Billy starts working over the arm of Skyler. Billy cracks Skyler with multiple slaps to the behind, Skyler leaves the ring to go after Austin and Billy gets him back in the ring. Skyler attacks Billy with strikes when he gets back in the ring, Billy recovers and he hits Skyler with a shoulder tackle. Skyler goes to the ring apron before nailing Billy with a slingshot spear, Skyler keeps Billy down while attacking him with strikes. Billy recovers and he nails a charging Skyler with a slam. Skyler avoids at fame asser and he nails Billy with a super kick, Billy fights back and he nails Skyler with a fame asser for a three count.

Winner: Billy w/Austin Gunn

– Alex Marvez interviews Dustin Rhodes & Brandi Rhodes, QT Marshall arrives with Allie and he pulls up with a new car. Dustin has issues with Marshall and Marshall gets defensive, Brandi believes Marshall is going through a mid-life crisis. Marshall says he will get something to eat with Allie before the upcoming tag team match.

The Butcher & The Blade vs. Jon Cruz & Joe Alonzo

The match begins with Butcher and Blade attacking Cruz and Alonzo before the bell sounded, Blade picks Cruz up and he drops him on the top rope. Butcher then nails Alonzo with a pump handle fall away slam, Blade follows up by attacking Alonzo with more strikes. Blade corners Cruz while attacking him with more strikes, Butcher tags in and he double teams Cruz with Blade. Butcher then sends Cruz face first into the middle turnbuckle pad, Butcher follows up by nailing Cruz with a series of gut busters. Alonzo tags in after Butcher tosses Cruz across the ring, Butcher quickly nails Alonzo with a cross body block. Butcher also nails Alonzo with a series of suplexes, Blade tags in and he double teams Alonzo with Butcher. Butcher and Blade then hit Alonzo with an assisted uranage for a near fall, Alonzo fights back and he tags Cruz into the match. Butcher interferes and he works with Blade to land their finisher for a three count.

– Peter Avalon & Brandon Cutler are backstage arguing over who is the worst wrestler in AEW, Leva Bates interrupts and says they should be tag team partners. 

Christi Jaynes vs. KiLynn King

The match begins with King getting Jaynes in a headlock, Jaynes gets free and she works over the arm of King before getting her in a headlock. King gets free and Jaynes nails her with a shoulder block, King recovers and lands a shoulder tackle of her own. King then exchanges a few roll ups with Jaynes for a few near falls, King ends that before nailing Jaynes with a few arm drags. King follows up on that by working over the arm of Jaynes, Jaynes backs King into the corner before landing a few strikes. Jaynes drops King in the corner before stomping away on her, Jaynes keeps King down before kicking her in the back for a near fall. Jaynes corners King again before choking her, King fights back and she nails Jaynes with multiple clotheslines. King nails Jaynes with a running pump kick and a release German suplex, King follows up by nailing Jaynes with a cutter. Jaynes shocks King with a roll up from out of nowhere for a three count.

Winner: Christi Jaynes

Santana & Ortiz vs. Big Game Leroy & EJ Lewis

The match begins with Santana kicking Leroy’s Nintendo Switch before landing an enziguri, Lewis tags in and Santana assaults him with a plethora of strikes. Santana then tosses Lewis clear across the ring, Ortiz tags in and he works over the arm of Lewis before double teaming him with Santana. Ortiz then nails Lewis with multiple slams and a Saito Suplex, Ortiz follows up by nailing Lewis with a clothesline. Santana tags in and he attacks a trapped Lewis with a plethora of chops, Santana follows up by kicking Lewis right in the face. Ortiz tags in and Lewis fights back against the opposing team, Santana quickly ends that by nailing Lewis with a super kick. Santana and Ortiz double team Lewis further for a near fall, Leroy hits the ring and Santana scares him out of it. Leroy tags in and Santana corners him, Ortiz tags in and he nails Leroy with a sit out power bomb. Santana then nails Leroy with an inverted power bomb into the corner, Santana and Ortiz hit Leroy with the Street Sweeper for a three count.

Winners: Santana & Ortiz

Brandon Cutler & Peter Avalon w/Leva Bates vs. The Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes & QT Marshall) w/Brandi Rhodes & Allie

The match begins with Rhodes getting Cutler in a headlock, Rhodes then drops Cutler with an arm drag. Cutler fights back before going face to face with Rhodes, Avalon and Marshall are tagged in by their respective partners. Marshall nails Avalon with a hip toss followed by some strikes, Marshall then catches a leaping Avalon before landing a suplex. Marshall also nails Avalon with a few shoulder tackles and a top rope forearm strike, Leva interferes and that allows Avalon to gain control. Marshall confronts Leva and Avalon nails him with a suicide dive, Avalon gets Marshall back in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt. Avalon mounts Marshall and he attacks him with strikes, Cutler tags in and he attacks Marshall with more strikes. Cutler then hits Marshall with a springboard forearm strike for a near fall, Avalon tags in and he attacks Marshall with more strikes. Avalon also nails Marshall with a leg lariat for a near fall, Avalon mounts Marshall again while landing more strikes. Avalon corners Marshall before landing more strikes, Cutler tags in and he attacks Marshall with more strikes. Marshall fights back and Cutler nails him with a spinning head kick, Cutler lands a swanton bomb on Marshall for a near fall.

Marshall fights back and he causes Cutler and Avalon to accidentally hit each other, Rhodes and Avalon are tagged into the match. Rhodes quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Rhodes nails Avalon with a bulldog before hitting both opponents with power slams for a near fall. Avalon fights back and he tags Cutler in, Cutler nails Rhodes with a springboard elbow drop for a near fall. Marshall hits the ring to attack the other team with Rhodes, Marshall and Cutler then battle on the arena floor. Leva interferes again and Brandi throws her into Avalon, Cutler returns and Rhodes nails him with a destroyer. Marshall tags in and he nails Cutler with a cutter for a three count.
