AEW Continental Classic 2024 Night One Recap
Night one of the AEW Continental Classic is in the books.
The November 27 edition of AEW Dynamite kicked off with the first match in the tournament, as Shelton Benjamin took on Mark Briscoe in a Blue League matchup. The Hurt Syndicate left the match happy, as ‘The Gold Standard’ scored a victory over Briscoe with a floating powerslam.

Later on in the night, Claudio Castagnoli picked up a win over his own in the Gold League, defeating Ricochet via pinfall after a nasty clothesline.

To cap off the night, Brody King earned a win over Darby Allin in the Gold League, drilling him with a Gonzo Bomb after nearly making him pass out with a sleeper hold.
