- ROH World Tag Team Championships – Bunkhouse Brawl: The Sons of Texas (Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara) (c) def. The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) via Pinfall (Swanton Bomb off The Ladder from Guevara on Bennett).
- Lexy Nair interviewed Hologram & The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe & Kyle O’Reilly) before they were interrupted by The Premier Athletes (Josh Woods, Ariya Daivari, Tony Nese & Mark Sterling), with Sterling saying he did not want any shenanigans. Briscoe responded by saying that their manager tonight would be “Azucar” Rocky Romero.
- There was a vignette teasing “DMD” making an appearance on the AEW’s 5th Anniversary Show.
- Lexy Nair interviewed The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Alex Reynolds), but they were interrupted by Darby Allin. Allin told Uno to remind him who he was that he was in cruise control for tonight and that it was not a joke anymore.
- Hologram & The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe & Kyle O’Reilly) (w/ Rocky Romero) def. The Premier Athletes (Josh Woods, Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) (w/ Mark Sterling) via Pinfall (Jay Drilla from Briscoe on Woods).
- The MxM Collection (Mansoor & Mason Madden) said they had given a makeover of Max Caster’s jacket, saying they would unveil the remake of the jacket on the Grand Slam edition of AEW Collision.
- AEW Women’s World Championship – Eliminator Match: Mariah May (c) def. Lady Frost via Pinfall (Storm Zero).
- After the match, there was a video package recapping the feud between Yuka Sakazaki & Mariah May ahead of their match for the AEW Women’s Title at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.
- Lexy Nair interviewed Willow Nightingale, where she said this was part of the ups & downs in wrestling. She was interrupted by Deonna Purrazzo & Taya Valkyrie, where Purrazzo said that if she was Yuka’s friend, she would be in her corner. Taya & Willow had a heated exchange of words before Willow challenged Taya to a match for the 9/27 edition of AEW Rampage.
- The Acclaimed (Billy Gunn, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) called out the MxM Collection, with Caster saying that, of course, they wanted to dress like him. Bowens then said it was time to nut up or shut up for The MxM Collection.
- There was a vignette of The Blackpool Combat Club’s tear in AEW since Jon Moxley’s return ahead of the AEW Grand Slam.
- Darby Allin def. Evil Uno (w/ Alex Reynolds) via Pinfall (Coffin Drop).
- In an interview taped after the 9/19 edition of AEW Dynamite, Renee Paquette interviewed Jeff Jarrett & Karen Jarrett before Jeff challenged Page to a Lumberjack Strap Match for AEW Grand Slam.
- Serena Deeb def. Queen Aminata via Pinfall (Deebtox).
- Renee Paquette interviewed The Outcasts (Saraya & Harley Cameron), where they explained the rules of a Saraya’s Rules Match against Jamie Hayter at AEW Grand Slam.
- Lexy Nair interviewed The Sons of Texas (Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara), with Guevara calling out Kazuchika Okada for a Championship Eliminator Match on AEW Grand Slam.
- Roderick Strong, The Beast Mortos, RUSH & Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) def. HOOK & FTRunners (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) via Pinfall (Bull’s Horns from RUSH on Harwood).
- Serena Deeb cut a promo backstage, where she called out Dr. Britt Baker DMD to a match on AEW’s 5th Anniversary Show.
- Nigel McGuiness cut a promo from the ramp calling out Bryan Danielson, saying that Danielson had refused to answer his challenge for AEW Grand Slam, calling it “pathetic” and saying that Bryan feared Nigel. Nigel said that the least Danielson could do was do it for “the fans”. Tony Schiavone interrupted saying that Nigel’s claims were ridiculous and that Danielson had not yet wrestled and said he was not yet cleared to compete. Nigel was irate and said that he would have taken Tony’s head off if he was anyone else. McGuiness then came to the ring and said he had been shouting from the moon that he was as good as Danielson but no one believed him since he was retired and only two people knew that everything he was saying was true: himself & Danielson. Nigel then said that even if Danielson did not show up, the whole world would know and said that if there was a god in heaven the match would happen; however, if it did not happen, may the devil hear his prayer.
