On August 26, 2023, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of AEW Collision on TNT.

AEW Collision (8/26/2023)

  • Current FTW Champion Jack Perry was in the ring to open the show to “retire” the championship. After relieving some of the moments he had with the belt, Perry got a sledgehammer to destroy the belt but was stopped when the lights went out. A video vignette of HOOK played before HOOK appeared in the ring and attacked Perry, sending him through a table with a T-Bone Suplex. HOOK then challenged Perry for the championship for AEW All In. The match is set for the Zero Hour.
  • Eddie Kingston, Orange Cassidy & Penta El Zero Miedo (w/ Alex Abrahantes) def. The Butcher, The Blade & Kip Sabian.
    • After the match, Best Friends (Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) came to the ring to address the Blackpool Combat Club. Barretta promised to beat up the BCC for Sue.
      The Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Mike Santana & Ortiz) interrupted them in a promo from the titantron. Santana stated that he had a year to reflect and that it would culminate at Wembley Stadium. As Castagnoli & Ortiz ranted on Eddie Kingston, Kingston walked to the back to confront them on the back. Backstage, Kingston threw two chairs before stating the following: “I’m not surprised, Santana & Ortiz. I respect; however, that doesn’t mean I won’t gut you up and watch you die in the ring. Jon (Moxley), get out of my way! I know you have a beautiful wife, a beautiful little girl. Get out of my way Jon or I’m gonna hurt you. Yuta, I am gonna bury you, but Claudio, my sweetheart, I will save you for last. I’m gonna burn you, I am going to make sure are scarred forever. You guys messed up”. 
  • There was a video vignette of The Young Bucks & FTR ahead of their match for the AEW Tag Team Championships at AEW All In.
  • Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds) def. Darius Martin & Action Andretti.
  • Lexy Nair interviewed Darby Allin & Nick Wayne backstage, but they were interrupted by AR Fox. Fox apologized to both Allin & Wayne for betraying them before extending his hand to Wayne, but Wayne ignored him. Allin told Fox he knew he was sorry before shaking Fox’s hand.
  • Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed were  in a music video dedicated to Gunn returning to his “Badass Billy Gunn” moniker ahead of their match against AEW Trios Champions The House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews & Brody King) on AEW All In. 
  • There was a video package of Hikaru Shida, Saraya, Toni Storm & Dr. Britt Baker DMD ahead of their match for the AEW Women’s Championship at AEW All In.
  • Big Bill (w/ Ricky Starks) def. Vary Morales.
    • After the match, Starks congratulated Morales for the effort before saying that Morales reminded him of young Steamboat. Starks said that he would Morales like he did Steamboat before whipping Morales away with his belt.
  • Ruby Soho was interviewed backstage by Lexy Nair before Soho challenged TBS Champion Kris Statlander for a title match at AEW All Out on September 3, 2023.
  • Willow Nightingale def. Robyn Renegade (w/ Charlette Renegade).
  • There was a video package preview of the match between Miro & Powerhosue Hobbs for AEW All In.
  • Kris Statlander was interviewed backstage to respond to Soho’s statements earlier in the night. Statlander said that she was tired of being disrespected before accepting Soho’s challenge for the belt.
  • Keith Lee def. Zicky Dice.
  • There was a vignette of Preston Vance & Dralistico being kidnapped by a large group. They beat them all up before the camera cut to Jose The Assistant clapping for their efforts. 
  • Samoa Joe cut a promo before the Main Event of the evening. He stated that he would be in commentary and not interfere in the main event, but did promise to give CM Punk the ass-whooping he deserves at AEW All In.
  • CM Punk, Darby Allin, Sting & HOOK def. Jay White, Swerve Strickland, Luchasaurus & Brian Cage (w/ Christian Cage & Prince Nana).
    • The finish came in when CM Punk hit the GTS on Cage, which he followed up by locking in the Coquina Clutch on Cage for the win while starring daggers at Samoa Joe. Immediately after the match, Samoa Joe darted himself into the ring to attack Punk. An all-out brawl ensued both inside of the ring, at ringside, and in the crowd arena before the end of the broadcast.
