AEW Announces Eight-Man Tournament To Crown Number One Contender For AEW Title, Finals At Full Gear
A tournament to crown the next challenger for the AEW World Title is set.
AEW announced an eight-man tournament that is set to kick off in the coming weeks with the finals to take place at AEW Full Gear on November 7. The winner of the tournament will be the number one contender for the AEW World Title.
On Dynamite, Jungle Boy, Rey Fenix, Kenny Omega were announced as the first three names in the tournament. The inclusion of Omega upset Hangman Page, who was at the commentary table and still coming to grips with the team being disbanded.

It is unknown when AEW will announce more competitor for the tournament or when the tournament will begin.
