Tiffany Stratton Advances To Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge At NXT Deadline 2023
The first woman has qualified for the 2023 NXT Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.
Tiffany Stratton defeated Fallon Henley on November 7 to punch her ticket to NXT Deadline and her first-ever Iron Survivor Challenge. This match was originally supposed to take place at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31, but due to a premature assault by Stratton, it was moved back a week and made for the first women’s Iron Survivor challenge qualifier at the request of WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley.
Stratton was able to get the victory with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever as she moved one step closer to gaining another shot to become NXT Women’s Champion for a second time.
NXT Deadline 2022 saw the introduction of the Iron Survivor Challenge. It comprises five contestants and a time limit of 25 minutes. The contest begins with two participants, and then every five minutes, a new person joins. A participant must collect the most points by pinfall, submission, or disqualification to win the bout. The winner will compete for the NXT Championship or the NXT Women’s Championship.
Grayson Waller and Roxanne Perez won the inaugural Men’s and Women’s Iron Survivor Challenges at NXT Deadline 2022.
