Ad Free Shows Hosting ‘Money For Mongo’ Event To Raise Money For Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael

Fans can help Mongo. 

The AdFreeShows family is coming together to help raise money for Steve “Mongo” McMichael as he continues to battle ALS. Ad Free Shows will be hosting “Money For Mongo” on September 3 with the likes of Ric Flair, Tony Schiavone, Jeff Jarrett and more appearing. 

“Mongo” is a former NFL player turned WCW announcer turned wrestler. He was part of the Four Horsemen and is a former WCW United States Champion. 

The event will air on FITE TV for free. 100% of the proceeds donated will go to the McMichael family.

Steve “Mongo” McMichael, a member of the 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl XX team and former WCW star, has inspired and entertained audiences in every endeavor of his life. And as he, and his wife Misty, continue to bravely battle against Mongo’s ALS, the wrestling world is coming together for an all-star, free-to-watch benefit show to raise money for the McMichael family.

On Saturday, September 3rd at 12:30pm CST, AdFreeShows.com will be hosting “Money For Mongo” streaming live, exclusively on FITE.tv. Wrestling legends scheduled to appear include “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, WWE Hall of Famers Eric Bischoff, Jeff Jarrett, Jim Ross and Mick Foley, as well as the voice behind so many of Mongo’s WCW matches, Tony Schiavone, will come together to celebrate the life and career of McMichael. Hosted by Conrad Thompson.

Money for Mongo air exclusively on FITE.tv and will be completely free-to-watch, and the hope viewers will make a donation. 100 percent of the money raised will go the McMichael family.
