Adam Cole: There’s Tension With Bullet Club; At Some Point, The Elite Will Take Care Of Business
Adam Cole joined All Elite Wrestling at AEW All Out, realigning himself with The Elite.
Cole was previously attached to Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks as members of The Bullet Club during their time in Japan and the Independent scene.
Since The Bullet Club split from The Elite at G1 Special in San Francisco in July 2018, the two squads have traded shots on social media and other various media outlets.
Speaking to Asbury Park Press, Adam Cole believes it’s just a matter of time before the two squads come head-to-head.
“I think there’s been tension with the Bullet Club over in Japan and the Elite here in AEW,” Cole said. “The history kind of speaks for itself, seeing the tension between the two teams and the two groups. So, ‘unfinished business’ I think would be an understatement. I think it’s very possible that at some point, me and the Elite are going to have to take care of some business.”
There have been Bullet Club and Elite interactions throughout the year with KENTA coming to AEW, Jay White confronting Omega at IMPACT Slammiversary, and Guerrillas of Destiny confronting The Good Brothers at NJPW Resurgence.
Cole is set to make his AEW in-ring debut on Wednesday’s Dynamite when he faces Frankie Kazarian.
