Adam Cole: Roderick Strong Knows He Has A Home In AEW
Undisputed ERA was arguably the most dominant faction in NXT history as Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong ran roughshod on the roster from 2017 to 2021.
Cole, O’Reilly, and Fish are now united in AEW, while Strong remains in NXT. On May 2, Fightful Select reported that Strong had asked for his release from WWE “multiple times” over the last several months. His release has been denied by WWE thus far.
During a Q&A Session at Motor City Con, Cole was asked about Strong coming to AEW to join his former brothers in Undisputed ERA.
“I would love nothing more than for Roderick Strong to come to AEW. I don’t know what he’s going to do, I don’t know where his head is at, but he knows that he has a home in AEW. Especially with me, Bobby, and Kyle. That would be amazing,” he said.
Cole noted that it’s been amazing to be reunited with Fish & O’Reilly in AEW. Cole was the first member to jump to AEW, joining in September 2021 at All Out. Fish joined in October 2021 while O’Reilly joined in December 2021.
Strong reportedly signed a new deal with WWE in 2021before the debut of Diamond Mine in June 2021.
