Adam Cole Dares Pat McAfee To Welcome Him Back Onto His Show, Says He’d Be A Total Pro

Adam Cole still hates Pat McAfee.

The feud between the two men started in earnest in 2018 when McAfee interfered in one of Cole’s matches against Aleister Black at an NXT live event. They spent the better part of the next two years trading verbal jabs via social media and WWE television.

Tensions escalated when, in July 2020, Cole made an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show and the two men took turns trying to discredit the other’s professional accomplishments and credentials. A verbal confrontation nearly turned physical, however, when McAfee called out Cole for his size. The former NXT Champion then stood up and confronted McAfee, dropping an expletive and shoving McAfee’s co-host before walking off.

The rivalry culminated with two matches, the first of which was a singles contest at TakeOver XXX, which Cole won despite an impressive showing from McAfee. They would do battle one last time at TakeOver: WarGames IV, where Cole’s Undisputed ERA would beat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Danny Burch, and Oney Lorcan.

Now in AEW and set to challenged Hangman Page for the World Title at Revolution, Cole is daring the SmackDown commentator to bring him back on his show.

Earlier tonight on SmackDown, it was announced that Vince McMahon will be the special guest on the March 3 edition of The Pat McAfee Show.
