25-Man Battle Royal Announced For WWE Survivor Series 2021
Sami Zayn may be off team SmackDown, but he still has a chance to make an impact this Sunday at Survivor Series.
Last week, Sami Zayn lost to Jeff Hardy in a match that cost him his spot on the SmackDown Survivor Series team. During tonight’s episode, Zayn was seen backstage complaining to Sonya Deville about the conspiracy against him, both in regards to Survivor Series and his documentary not being released.
Sonya responded by saying that the decision to take him off the team was entirely Adam Pearce’s idea. She continued on, saying that this Sunday marks the 25th Anniversary of The Rock’s debut and in honor of that, is booking a 25-Man Battle Royal that he can win. If he’s successful, she said that he’ll be remembered alongside The Rock. Sami was more than receptive to the idea.
