1/29/2020 Impact Wrestling Xplosion Results: Lady Maravilla vs. Keyra & A Michael Elgin Interview

Lady Maravilla vs. Keyra
The match begins with Maravilla making Keyra miss an enziguri before landing a kick to the midsection, Keyra gets Maravilla in a headlock and Maravilla gets free before eating an arm drag. Maravilla recovers and she nails Keyra with a hurricarana, Maravilla trips up Keyra on the ring apron before landing a basement drop kick that knocks her to the arena floor. Maravilla then hits Keyra with a top rope dive as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Maravilla nailing Keyra with a series of kicks. Maravilla traps Keyra in the bottom rope before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall, Keyra fights back and she sends Maravilla into the middle rope before rolling her up for a near fall. Keyra drops a recovering Maravilla for another near fall, Keyra traps Maravilla’s leg in the ropes before kicking away at it. Maravilla catches a leaping Keyra to land a butterfly suplex for a near fall, Maravilla gets Keyra up to nail her with a few strikes.
Maravilla is tripped up by Keyra in the corner, Keyra nails Maravilla with a basement drop kick for a near fall. Keyra keeps Maravilla cornered while landing more strikes, Maravilla avoids a charging Keyra to land a back stabber for a near fall. Keyra recovers and she nails Maravilla with Eat Defeat and a Code Red for a near fall, Keyra catches Maravilla in a roll up for a three count.
Winner: Keyra
– Around The Ring with Gabby Loren is up next and tonight’s guest is Michael Elgin, who talks about everything he likes about competing in Mexico. Elgin says he isn’t much of a taco person while listing which Mexican foods he would eat, Elgin says the Mexican wrestling fans are great. Elgin talks about the noise makers that the Mexican fans use and how other fans around the world now use them, Elgin talks about how being married to a wrestler is better than when he was dating non-wrestlers. Elgin talks about how he met his wife at a wrestling show, Elgin says he doesn’t think his son fully understands what he does just yet. Elgin says he enjoys spending time with his family when not wrestling, Elgin says he is studying cartoon movie fight scenes to use when playing with his son.
