Ricky Starks Challenges Ricky Steamboat, AEW World Trios Title Match, More Set For 9/2 AEW Collision

Here’s what is set for the September 2, 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite.

First, Jay White will take on Dax Harwood in a highly anticipated singles bout. The two men will then face off the following night at the All Out pay-per-view, as Bullet Club Gold will face FTR and the Young Bucks.

Also, The Acclaimed & ‘Daddy Ass’ will defend their newly won AEW World Trios Championships against the trio of Daniel Garcia, ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard, and ‘Cool Hand’ Angelo Parker.

Furthermore, The Outcasts (Saraya, Ruby Soho, & Toni Storm) will take on the trio of Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Kris Statlander.

Tony Khan then announced that, on AEW Collision, Ricky Starks will challenge Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat to a Strap Match at AEW All Out. Starks was previously suspended for his actions on the August 5 edition of AEW Collision.

There, he attacked Steamboat, the special outside official, after he lost to the “real” AEW World Champion CM Punk. During the beat-down, he whipped Steamboat with his own belt.

Steamboat, 70, came out of retirement for a one-off match at the Big Time Wrestling Return of the Dragon event on November 27, 2022. Before that, he last wrestled in 2010.
