Liv Morgan Reveals What Ronda Rousey Said To Her After She Won The SmackDown Women’s Championship
Liv Morgan is over the moon to be the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Liv Morgan accomplished the dream of a lifetime at WWE Money in the Bank 2022. Not only did she knock Becky Lynch, someone who defeated her for the Raw Women’s Championship earlier this year, off of a ladder to secure the Money in the Bank briefcase, but she later cashed in on Ronda Rousey, becoming only the third person in WWE to defeat Ronda Rousey and in the process, Liv Morgan became the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion.
In a post-match interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Morgan, was overcome with emotion and shared what Ronda Rousey said to her during their embrace after Morgan won the championship.
“She said, ‘You deserve it,’” Morgan revealed.

Morgan called the victory the greatest moment of her life so far and says that she is already in love with being a champion.
“I’ve literally I’ve worked my whole entire life for this, Ariel. It doesn’t feel real to have it in my hands. Even though I’m holding it even though I see it, I feel it, I can’t believe it’s mine. You have to kill me to get this out of my hands… This is the greatest moment of my life so far.”
Speaking about those that supported her, Liv Morgan thanks them for never giving up and losing their faith.
“I genuinely love you guys so much. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you guys. Without your voices, I wouldn’t be here. So, I genuinely did this for us,” she said, before revealing that this was her plan from the beginning, “[The plan] was in motion and it was executed. I’m your new SmackDown Women’s Champion. I love this thing,” she concluded.
