Wardlow Doesn’t Know Where MJF Is And Doesn’t Care
The last time fans saw MJF compete in an AEW ring, he was defeated by Wardlow at AEW Double or Nothing and taken out on a stretcher.
On the subsequent episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF cut his now infamous promo where he begged Tony Khan to fire him and called him a “fucking mark.” Since then, fans haven’t heard from MJF and he has been removed from AEW’s digital and social footprint.
During a K&S WrestleFest signing, Wardlow was asked about MJF’s promo and his thoughts on it.
“Next question,” replied Wardlow.
He was then asked if he knew where MJF was. Wardlow replied, “I know nothing about nothing. Nobody knows. I don’t care. I personally don’t care. Nobody knows.”
Finally, Wardlow was asked if he knew what MJF would say during he promo.
“For the most part, we write our own (material). They just hand us microphones and we go out there and say what we want. There’s really no monitoring what we say when we go out there,” he said.
Wardlow has been tied to MJF throughout his entire AEW career as he debuted on television as MJF’s bodyguard. He finally broke free from the contract of MJF with a victory at AEW Double or Nothing.
Tony Khan has been asked multiple times about MJF’s status with AEW and has not commented.
