Jeff Hardy Wants The Hardys To Have A Triangle Ladder Match With FTR And The Young Bucks In AEW

Jeff Hardy names his desired Triangle Ladder Match lineup in AEW and reconsiders his initial decision to put a young tag team in the mix.

The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge & Christian made a name for themselves in the year 2000 in a Triangle Ladder Match at WrestleMania. Now, Jeff Hardy is in AEW with Matt and they are in the middle of their final run as a tag team. Speaking on AEW Unrestricted, Jeff Hardy named FTR and The Young Bucks as two teams he’s excited to wrestle against saying that Matt Hardy had an idea to do a cinematic match with the Young Bucks before The Hardy Boyz return to WWE in 2017.

“Well, totally like first and foremost, FTR and The Young Bucks are like number one, especially the one thing we never did before Matt and I went back to like WWE in 2017, we had this idea for this cinematic match called ‘Too Sweet or DELETE.’ It can be amazing, with portals and whatever you throw in there, like just entertaining. The tag team situation in AEW is just so sick. It’s crazy. Anybody who wants to work I mean, we’re willing to work,” said Jeff Hardy.

When asked about who he would like to face in an updated Triangle Ladder Match, Jeff initially said Top Flight, before immediately retracting because he feels that they are too young and have too much of a long career ahead of them and naming FTR and The Young Bucks instead.

“Definitely Top Flight — no! I’m sorry. They’re way younger. They have a huge career ahead of them. FTR and The Young Bucks.”
