WWE Raw Viewership, Ratings Down On 8/9/21
Raw draws its lowest viewership so far in the post-ThunderDome era.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports the August 9 episode of WWE Raw drew 1.790 million viewers, down from last week’s viewership of 1.821 million viewers.
The show posted a 0.49 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, down from last week’s number of a 0.51 rating in the same demographic.
Thurston also shared the following information regarding viewership trends.
Raw was ahead of last week’s Dynamite in all other demos we have data for. But there were some narrow margins. In P18-49, Raw was ahead by just 6%, ahead with M18-49 by 1%, and ahead on P18-34 by 8%.

This week’s Monday Night Raw was bookended by the story of Randy Orton’s return and his partnership with Riddle. In the main event, Randy Orton faced AJ Styles and was able to successfully defeat him thanks to Riddle neutralizing Omos.
This episode also featured Bobby Lashley, who made his intentions to end Goldberg very clear. Also, the WWE United States Championship match was made official for SummerSlam.
