Joey Janela Turns On Sonny Kiss On 8/9 AEW Dark: Elevation, Kiss Reacts
Joey Janela has proven that he really is a “Bad Boy.”
After being a tag team for the majority of their time in AEW, Joey Janela has turned heel on Sonny Kiss on the August 9 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.
While they weren’t heavily utilized on AEW Dynamite, Joey and Sonny regularly appeared on AEW’s YouTube programming and Kiss would even step in last Autumn during the World Championship Eliminator Tournament after Joey was deemed unable to compete against Kenny Omega.
The Betrayal would happen on August 9 as the tag team appeared to enter the arena for competition when Joey would nail Kiss with a superkick.
