Bronson Reed Released By WWE
On Friday, August 6, Bronson Reed announced that he had been released by WWE.
Reed (real name Jermaine Haley) signed with the company in January 2019 but did not make his NXT television debut until June of that summer. Less than two years later, on May 18, 2021, Reed captured his first title in WWE, winning the NXT North American Championship from Johnny Gargano in a Steel Cage Match. Reed’s title reign would only last 42 days, however, as he dropped the belt to Isaiah “Swerve” Scott due to interference from Hit Row.
On July 21, Reed had his final match for the company, losing to Adam Cole.
