Hiroshi Tanahashi Appears On-Screen At AEW Fight For The Fallen, Challenges IWGP US Title Holder
Hiroshi Tanahashi walked through the Forbidden Door.
Hiroshi Tanahashi is the man that started the phrase The Forbidden Door. Since then, Tony Khan has gone on to trademark the term and refer to himself as The Forbidden Door.
Now, Hiroshi Tanahashi has made his first appearance on AEW programming on the July 28 AEW Dynamite. In a pre-taped video package, Tanahashi revealed that he wants to challenge for the IWGP United States Championship and that he would be coming for the winner of Hikuleo and Lance Archer’s match at Fight For The Fallen

Lance Archer would go on to defeat Hikuleo and retain the championship. It was been announced on commentary that Lance Archer will be traveling to Japan to defend his title against Hiroshi Tanahashi.
