Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight’s edition of WWE RAW!
RAW Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Battle Royal
RKBRO immediately take out Xavier before taking out Lince before they’re surrounded by T-Bar, Mace, and the Viking Raiders as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Lince nearly eliminating John repeatedly before John eliminates him before Mace and T-Bar eliminate John before Mace and T-Bar are eliminated by VR as it’s down to three teams as we go to commercial.
We come back to VR taking out Xavier before Riddle rocks them with kicks before they take him out and Xavier eliminates Riddle before Xavier is eliminated and VR eliminate both Randy and Kofi for the win.
Winner: Viking Raiders win the battle royal to earn an opportunity to face AJ Styles and Omos for the RAW Tag Team titles.
– Backstage Charlotte meets with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville before RAW Women’s champion Rhea Ripley shows up before a match is made between Rhea and Charlotte and Nikki Cross and a mystery partner as we go to commercial.
– We get a graphic for Shayna Baszler on Alexa’s Playground later tonight.
– Elias is in the ring before he’s attacked from behind by Jaxson Ryker in retaliation for Elias leaving him in their tag title match last week as we go to commercial.
Jaxson Ryker vs Elias
We come back from the break to the match already in progress as Jaxson is in control before Elias rolls out of the ring and attacks Jaxson when he gets back inside before hitting an atomic drop and Jaxson counters a fireman’s carry into a uranage before Elias rolls out of the ring. Elias then flees up the ramp and to the back for the count out.
Winner: Jaxson Ryker defeats Elias via count out.
– We go to the ring to the contract signing for the WWE Championship Match at Hell in a Cell between the champion Bobby Lashley, and the challenger Drew McIntyre with Sonya and Adam already in the ring before they introduce Drew who cuts a long promo before Bobby and MVP come out to the ring. MVP and Drew then exchange words as Bobby looks on before Drew signs the contract first and Bobby second before Bobby and Drew exchange words and Drew cuts the table in half with his sword before the two face off and Bobby and his entourage leave.
– We then go backstage to an interview with Nikki Cross ahead of her tag match later tonight where she’ll team up with Asuka as we go to commercial.
United States Championship Number One Contender Match
Ricochet vs Humberto Carrillo
Before the match we see the United States champion Sheamus at ringside with a mask on his face to protect his broken nose before the match starts with the two scaring and mocking Sheamus before Ricochet knocks Humberto off of the apron and hits a wrecking ball dropkick as we go to commercial.
Ricochet hits a Spanish fly off of the apron and onto the floor before Sheamus leaves ringside and goes to the back as the referee checks on Humberto and Ricochet.
Winner: No Contest.
– Backstage MVP tries to arrange a deal with Kofi as we go to commercial.
– Kofi versus Riddle in a singles match is announced for later tonight.
– Backstage Mustafa Ali walks up on Mansoor training and gives him advice where he says that he needs to be aware that not everyone will play by the rules and that he should be cautious of everyone else in the locker room before leaving.
Jeff Hardy vs Cedric Alexander
Cedric and Jeff drop each other before Cedric beats on Jeff in the corner and hits a snapmare into a basement dropkick for two before locking in a rear chin lock and Jeff fights to his feet before Cedric slams him down by his hair before choking Jeff in the ropes and dropping him with a back elbow for two. Jeff then comes back with a flurry of moves before Cedric counters a Twist of Fate and hits a brainbuster for a near fall before Jeff hits a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jeff Hardy defeats Cedric Alexander via pinfall.
Charlotte Flair & Rhea Ripley vs Asuka & Nikki Cross
Charlotte and Nikki start the match off before Rhea comes in and shoves Nikki backwards before Nikki rolls Rhea up for two and Asuka comes in Rhea rocks her with a headbutt before Asuka locks in an octopus stretch and Rhea gets free before dropping Asuka with a shoulder block. Charlotte then comes in and Nikki hits her with a head scissors and Asuka dropkicks her before Charlotte and Rhea argue at ringside and Charlotte slaps Rhea down onto the floor as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Nikki and Rhea in the ring with Rhea in control before Charlotte tags herself in and gets several two counts before locking in a rear chin lock until Nikki gets the hot tag to Asuka before Rhea hits a northern lights suplex for two. Asuka hits a German suplex into a running hip attack for two before tagging in Nikki who hits a diving cross body and Charlotte pulls her off before dumping her out of the ring and Charlotte and Rhea exchange strikes until Charlotte lays Rhea out with Natural Selection. Nikki then rushes back into the ring and covers the incapacitated Rhea for the win.
Winner: Asuka and Nikki Cross defeat Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley via pinfall.
Mansoor vs Drew Gulak
Drew drops Mansoor repeatedly before stretching his leg and stepping on the back of his neck before the two exchange pin attempts until Mansoor keeps Drew’s shoulders on the mat for the pin and the win.
Winner: Mansoor defeats Drew Gulak via pinfall.
– Backstage Riddle talks with Randy ahead of Riddle’s match against Kofi up next as we go to commercial with Riddle leaving on his scooter, angry that Randy threw the invisible key to Riddle’s lips in the trash can.
Riddle (w/ Randy Orton) vs Kofi Kingston (w/ Xavier Woods)
Kofi beats on Riddle in the corner before hitting a snapmare and a PK before hitting a jumping splash for two before Riddle hits a series of suplexes for two before hitting a senton and getting distracted by Xavier at ringside and getting rocked by a jawbreaker from Kofi. Kofi chops Riddle in the corner before Randy comes out to the ring and Kofi dropkicks Riddle and Randy when Randy goes after Xavier as we go to commercial with Randy back dropping Xavier across the announce table.
We come back to Riddle hitting an exploder into a PK before Kofi hits a head scissors into a stomp for two before hitting a splash for two before Riddle sends Kofi out of the ring before they end up back inside and Riddle hits a draping DDT before Kofi blocks an RKO. Riddle then ducks a Trouble in Paradise before Kofi hits it on the second attempt for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kofi Kingston defeats Riddle via pinfall.
– We go Alexa’s Playground in place of a main event match where Shayna Baszler joins and is interviewed by Alexa before becoming upset and insulting Alexa’s doll before Alexa attacks her and Shayna flees up the ramp before fire shoots out of the sides and she goes backstage with objects crashing around her. We then end the show with Shayna alone in a locker room as she sees the doll looking at her through a mirror and Shayna terrified as we cut to black.
