Dark Side Of The Ring Tops 270,000 Viewers For Season Three Premiere
Viewership numbers for the season three premiere of Dark Side of the Ring.
ShowBuzzDaily reports the season three premiere of Dark Side of the Ring, which aired on May 6 at 9 p.m. ET on VICE TV and focused on the life of Brian Pillman, drew 272,000 viewers. The show posted a 0.09 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
The show finished 74th among top 150 cable originals. The night on cable was won by the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers NBA game on TNT, which hit 1.309 million viewers and a 0.47 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
The season three premiere was a special two-hour episode dedicated to Pillman. Episodes moving forward will be one-hour.
Next week’s episode will focus on Nick Gage.
The season two premiere of Dark Side of the Ring, which focused on Chris Benoit, drew 320,000 viewers. The season two finale on Owen Hart drew 349,000 viewers. Those are the only two episodes to top the season three premiere viewership.
