WWE WrestleMania 37 To Have Approximately 25,000 Fans Each Night

An update on the number of fans allowed to attend WrestleMania 37.

According to Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times, WWE will welcome approximately 25,000 fans to attend each night of WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The number is roughly 36 percent of full capacity at the stadium.

During a webinar with Sportico, Stephanie McMahon confirmed WWE will allow 25,000 fans for each night of WrestleMania 37.

The Tampa Bay Times story notes health and safety protocols at WrestleMania will include seating pods, confirming Fightful Select‘s report that there would be pods of one to six people for the event. Social distancing, masks required, temperature checks, health screenings, cashless concessions and mobile ticketing will also be enforced with free masks given upon entry.

Fightful Select also noted that Vince McMahon has “softened his stance on cardboard cutout ideas in recent months,” though it is not confirmed if cardboard cutouts will be placed in the stands.

The NFL used cardboard cutouts at this year’s Super Bowl to help the stadium look at a fuller capacity. The Super Bowl was limited to under 25,000 fans with 30,000 cardboard cutouts occupying vacant seats.

WWE WrestleMania 37 tickets were originally scheduled to go on-sale on Tuesday, March 16 with WWE reportedly aiming for 45,000 fans each night. The on-sale date was pushed back to Friday, March 19 with a pre-sale on Thursday, March 18.
