Main Event Announced For NWA Back For The Attack On March 21

NWA will pay homage to Jocephus with the main event of their comeback pay-per-view, Back For The Attack on Sunday, March 21.

The NWA has announced via a new video that Aron Stevens, the former Damien Sandow in WWE, will challenge Nick Aldis for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of the promotion’s comeback pay-per-view.

Billy Corgan, NWA president, announced in the video that this match will be held in honor of Joseph Hudson, better known as Jocephus/The Question Mark. Hudson sadly passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2021. This will be the first new content under the NWA banner since the beginning of the global pandemic.

Stevens was chosen for this match because he was the tag team partner of Joseph Hudson when Hudson was portraying The Question Mark character. should Stephens win the match it would be his first major world championship victory. Of course, he won the Money in the Bank contract in WWE in 2013 but lost his WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity to John Cena on an October episode of Monday Night Raw, making him the second person to cash-in unsuccessfully.

Also confirmed for this event is a four-way dance between Crimson, Jax Dane, Jordan Clearwater, and Slice Boogie.

You can see a running list of talents signed for the event at this link. Fightful will have live coverage of the event on Sunday March 21. WWE Fastlane will also take place that evening, with live coverage for that event as well.
