Report: RUSH And Dragon Lee’s New ROH Deals Allow For Third-Party Merchandise Deals

New details have surfaced regarding Dragon Lee and RUSH’s new deals with Ring of Honor.

Earlier this week, Ring of Honor announced that Dragon Lee, RUSH, and their father, Bestia del Ring have signed new deals with the company.

Now, new details have surfaced regarding the agreements and an allowance for outside merchandise deals for the performers.

Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone reports that RUSH and Dragon Lee negotiated their new ROH contracts with the help of Masked Republic to include provisions that would still allow them to do outside merchandise deals. These agreements are similar to AEW’s Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix, where the promotion maintains non-exclusive merchandise rights.

In addition, it is reported that an additional reason for signing new contracts with ROH was due to their respective contracts expiring on separate dates. RUSH’s contract was scheduled to expire on January 31, 2021, but Dragon Lee’s had already expired a month earlier on December 31.

Lee reportedly signed a contract extension so that the new contracts could begin on the same day. As for Bestia’s deal, that is reportedly a per-appearance agreement.
