Keith Lee Files Trademark On Ring Name, WWE Filing Refused
Keith Lee is looking to secure his in-ring name, putting WWE’s trademark in jeopardy.
On August 27, 2019, WWE filed a trademark on “Keith Lee,” but the filing was put on hold as WWE did not submit a consent form signed by Lee to secure the trademark. On July 30, the USPTO sent a letter to WWE saying the application would be abandoned on December 30 if no consent form was submitted.
On December 18, Lee filed his own trademark on his in-ring name.
The description reads:

Lee did sign a consent form for his filing.
Mia Yim, Lee’s girlfriend, did the same thing earlier this year. WWE’s trademark on her in-ring name, which was filed in August 2019, was abandoned after no consent form was provided. Yim filed her own trademark in October.
