Joseph Park’s Analytics Determine Tito Santana Will Be The IC Champion After Clash Of Champions

AJ Styles’ personal analytics expert, Joseph Park returned to WWE programming once again and this time, he was trying to explain what the odds were for AJ Styles to walk out of the Triple Threat Ladder Match at WWE Clash of Champions as the Undisputed Intercontinental Champion.

On the most recent episode of Talking Smack, AJ Styles and Joseph Park sat down with Kayla Braxton and Xavier Woods to explain why AJ would walk out of Clash of Champions as the new Intercontinental Champion.

However, what started out as a simple lesson in Steiner math theory ended up as a projection the WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana would gain his first Intercontinental Championship in 34 years.

“AJ Styles is one of three members in the match, so right there, he has a thirty-three and one-third percent chance of winning. Okay? Now you put in his intellectual advantage over both men, and the computer system ranks that analytically at another thirty-three percent. Now, if you put that 33 percent, divide it by two, and add his age in, your answer is, the new Intercontinental Champion… Tito Santana…? There’s something wrong with the program. I’m sorry. I’ve got to rework it…”

While Tito Santana will obviously not become WWE Intercontinental Champion this Sunday, the current Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy has the record for the longest time between championship reigns with the Intercontinental Championship. Winning his first championship on the April 12th, 2001 episode of SmackDown, there are 7,072 days between the television airing of the start of his first Intercontinental Championship run and the start of his current Intercontinental Championship run.

Clearly, there is a glitch in the system and it is not as airtight as Joseph Park’s PISS algorithm from when AJ Styles was actually the Intercontinental Champion.

Who will walk out of WWE Clash of Champions as the Undisputed Intercontinental Champion? We will find out this Sunday. Fightful will have live coverage of the event beginning at 6 p.m. Eastern.
