Report: Magomed Ankalaev vs. Ion Cutelaba II Rebooked For UFC 252
A light heavyweight division rematch has been rebooked for UFC 252 as Magomed Ankalaev is in action against Ion Cutelaba.
MMA Fighting first reported the bout, as the rematch was originally set for the UFC 249 card.
Cutelaba (15-5-0-1NC) lost the first encounter against Ankalaev in controversial fashion at UFC Fight Night Norfolk, it was his second loss in three fights. Cutelaba is going to be competing on a pay-per-view card for the first time in his UFC tenure, which has lasted almost four years. Cutelaba has picked up fifteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Ankalaev (13-1-0) has won four of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Marcin Prachnio, Klidson Abreu, Dalcha Lungiambula and the aforementioned Cutelaba. Ankalaev has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Paul Craig at UFC Fight Night London. Ankalaev has picked up thirteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of KO/TKO.
