Jon Jones “Revokes” UFC Light Heavyweight Title, Wants Reyes vs. Blachowicz To Crown New Champion
It may be time to call UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones a former champion after Jones’ latest rant on Twitter.
Jones, on Twitter, is stating that he is revoking the UFC Light Heavyweight Title, while also stating that Jan Blachowicz and Dominick Reyes can fight to become the new champion.
#ESPN Reyes vs Jan For the UFC light heavyweight championship of the world. As of right now, I got nothing to really gain fighting either of them. Let me know if you guys want to set up a day in 2021 for that Izzy fight. Hopefully you guys will be willing to pay by then.

The latest issues between Jones and the UFC arose earlier this week when UFC President Dana White suggested that Jones wanted “Deontay Wilder” money for a potential bout against Francis Ngannou. Jones has refuted that assertion by White, which has led to several back and forths between Jones and White through both social media and various interviews.
There has been no response from the UFC or White as to what Jones has now said through Twitter or for the status of the UFC Light Heavyweight Title.
