Report: Chase Hooper Faces Alex Caceres At UFC 250
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as Chase Hooper faces Alex Caceres.
Ariel Helwani of ESPN first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Hooper (9-0-1) has already picked up one victory under the UFC banner, which came over Daniel Teymur at UFC 245. Hooper also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 14, defeating Canaan Kawaihae by unanimous decision. Hooper is a former Dominate FC Featherweight Champion, defeating Drew Brokenshire to win the gold in February of 2018.
Caceres (15-12-0-1NC) has rotated wins and losses in his last six fights, with the latest bout being a unanimous decision win over Steven Peterson at UFC Fight Night San Antonio. Caceres hasn’t picked up a victory in just about a year, with his last win at UFC Fight Night San Antonio coming in July of 2019. Caceres also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 12, making it to the quarterfinals before losing to Michael Johnson.
UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, June 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
