Dana White To Offer Jose Aldo A Fight
It is no secret at this point in time that current UFC Interim Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo is at odds with the UFC and UFC President Dana White.
The two sides are expected to meet at some point in the near future and if Aldo is to be believed, he will be either retiring or getting his walking papers from the promotion.
However, UFC President Dana White is approaching things from a different way, something he talked about recently on UFC Tonight.
“I can’t make anybody fight anybody. I try the best I can to put together fights. Jose Aldo and I will probably get together next week and talk about it. I’ll get him a fight all day long. Holloway is ready. Pettis is in that division now. I can’t make Conor fight anybody. Everyone wants to fight him. When Aldo was doing it, he never aspired to be those things. I’ve stood in front of everybody in this sport and when fights pull out, nobody asks the way Conor does. Nobody wants to take a risk. He goes all in. It’s part of the appeal and allure of Conor. When he steps up and puts all his chips on the table,” said White.
The only opponent that Aldo shown any interest in is former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis, although Max Holloway has called out the champion through social media, things will be a little more clear when Aldo and the UFC meet up sometime soon.
