The Final Two 2020 Money In The Bank Qualifying Matches, Bryan vs. Corbin Set For 5/1 WWE SmackDown

Mayday! Mayday! The final two WWE money in the bank qualifying matches for 2020 are laced with tension and high-emotions.

The storyline that sees Otis, Mandy Rose, Dolph Ziggler, and Sonya Deville all intertwined will now have money in the bank implications in its next chapter.

It was announced on April 24 that the final two Money in the Bank qualifying matches will take place on the May 1st episode of SmackDown. The final spot in the men’s Ladder Match will be decided by a WrestleMania 36 rematch as Otis battles Dolph Ziggler. The final spot in the women’s matchup will be decided when Mandy Rose takes on the inaugural Miss Money in the Bank, Carmella.

The missing piece of the quartet is Sonya Deville, who revealed on April 17 that she is tired of being in the shadow of her former best friend, Mandy Rose. Mandy Rose will have to have 100% of her attention on Carmella and try to put her personal issues on the backburner while hoping Sonya doesn’t make her presence felt during what will be a huge opportunity for her.

For Carmella, her tag team partner of recent weeks, Dana Brooke is already qualified to compete in the ladder match on May 10 and having the experience of winning two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches in the past, Carmella looks to earn an opportunity to become the first-ever two-time Miss Money in the Bank.

For Otis and Dolph Ziggler, it is just another week of fighting and what has become an ongoing saga. However, Dolph Ziggler would no doubt love to become a two-time Mr. Money in the Bank and repeat his 2013 crowning achievement.

Also advertised for next week is a match between Daniel Bryan and Baron Corbin. Both men have already qualified for this year’s men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
