Vince McMahon Reportedly Wanted To Turn The Revival Into A Comedy Team, Photos Of Potential Gear
On April 10, The Revival finally got their release from WWE after their original request in January 2019.
The last year in WWE for The Revival was a rollercoaster of ideas as they were SmackDown Tag Team Champions, threats alongside Randy Orton in a feud against The New Day, labeled as boring, and embarrassed by The Usos.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported in December 2019 that there were plans to turn The Revival into a comedy team, which began with Dash Wilder tripping during his entrance. The idea didn’t go anywhere and The Revival were slowly taken off television.
Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net independently confirmed the report and received photos of the new gear that were pitched to Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder.

According to Haynes, Vince McMahon personally handed these images to The Revival.
The former Dash Wilder chose to plead the fifth when asked about the legitimacy of the photos on Twitter.
